AUM & SIP Book Growth Calculator

See where your practice's AUM and monthly SIP book will stand years from now, once you factor in new SIP mandates, lumpsum inflows, step-ups, and client attrition. Enter your numbers and your projection is emailed to you.

Your inputs

Your projection is not shown on this page. It comes to you as a report by email.

₹
₹
₹
Net new SIP mandates you bring on each month. This adds up every month, on top of the book you already have.
₹
Fresh one-time inflows you expect to bring in each month, on average.
%
Additional recommended inputs
%
Yearly increase applied to your running SIP book, covering client top-ups, increments and renewals.
%
Share of your book lost each year to stopped SIPs and client exits. It applies to both the running SIP amount and the existing AUM.
%
Used only to estimate your projected annual trail revenue at the end of the period. It does not affect AUM.

How this is modelled
  • Each month: both AUM and the SIP book shrink by monthly attrition (clients who stop SIPs typically redeem their corpus too), then the new SIP amount is added; that book plus that month's lumpsum flows into AUM, and everything compounds at the monthly-equivalent of your expected return.
  • Attrition is applied to both stock (existing AUM) and flow (SIP book). Set it to 0% if you want to model gross growth ignoring client exits.
  • Step-up is applied once a year, to the SIP book only — it doesn't change already-invested AUM.
  • New lumpsum per month is held flat across the whole period — raise it yourself in later years if you expect it to grow.
  • Trail commission is an illustrative revenue estimate on the final AUM figure, not a forecast of actual payouts.
