Your true mobilisation

Your AUM today carries years of market growth. Take that growth out, and what is left is the money you truly mobilised. Three numbers are all it takes.

Your numbers

Your book today, the return it earned, and how long you have been building it.

AUM is a number the market helps you write. Mobilisation, the money you bring in, is the number that is truly yours, and the one a growing practice has to grow.

Grow what you bring in, not just what the market adds.

How it is worked out
  • As little as: today's AUM discounted back over your years in business, as if every rupee had come in on day one and grown at the rate you enter. It is the smallest amount that could have built today's book.
  • If spread evenly: the same AUM, as if you had brought in an equal amount at the start of every year. Real books usually sit between the two.
  • No redemptions, no switches, and one flat return for every year.
  • Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. These are illustrative calculations, and actual outcomes will differ.
